Lesley Mallow Wendell brings more than 20 years of experience as a leader, mentor and innovator in helping organizations and individuals enhance their leadership potential.
Lesley has facilitated talent management and leadership development programs for groups and individuals at all organizational levels since 1978. Having coached seasoned CEOs, senior management teams and individual contributors, Lesley tailors her approach to meet the multi-faceted needs of her clients. She uses a variety of approaches, techniques and assessment tools, including the DiSC Profiler, Myers Briggs Type Indicator® and CPI 260®. Each engagement is designed specifically for the individual client. In addition to her organizational work, she has developed and taught courses for Rosemont College and courses in Leadership and Negotiation at Cedar Crest College, where she was an adjunct faculty member in the Management Department. Lesley also serves as a leadership development consultant for Sage Management Consulting, Inc., specifically in the area of talent management. With Priscilla Rosenwald and Leadership Recruiters, she has launched TransitionWorks, a program that provides nonprofit executive transition consulting services. A frequently quoted leadership and career development expert in local and national business publications, Lesley has appeared on local and national radio and TV.
Prior to establishing Rosewood Consulting Group in 2001, Lesley served as Executive Director of a Philadelphia-based career and human resource consulting organization. She held previous positions in advertising and academia. During eleven years as Director of Career Services at Widener University, Lesley chaired the university’s Committee on Multicultural Understanding and trained groups and individuals on issues related to diversity.
To honor her commitment to serving both the business and social service communities, Lesley is active in various professional associations and community organizations. She serves as director of the Forum of Executive Women (FOEW) and is active on several FOEW committees. She was a past chair and long time director of WOMENS WAY and is on the advisory board of the Professional Women’s Roundtable. Lesley serves on the Leadership Forum committee of the Philadelphia Human Resource Planning Society, and is a past director of the Philadelphia Chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management.
Lesley has written an online column for the Society of Women Environmental Professionals and serves as a frequent keynote speaker to professional organizations on matters of leadership development. She was honored by Business Philadelphia as one of 1997's “Women to Watch” and in 2006, by Career Wardrobe for their “Story of a Suit” celebration. Lesley earned an M.S. in Human Resource Management from Widener University and an undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania. |
